Challenge
Manage the portfolio of the customers and integrate the various agents who are stock brokers and process all data within fractions of second of their execution and provide immediate results back to the agents.

Solution
This CRM project was done for a Japanese Client, which needs enhancements to an already existing project for its target customers. The enhancements include adding a new feature for Portfolio maintenance and its associated features and a new module for customer profiling.

This application has a User management system, which controls the access for different kinds and levels of users to the system. The system is developed on an existing framework which forces the system to maintain the information in an organized manner to serve the customer better during their subsequent calls.

The new functionality related to Portfolio management and Profiling Sheet added to this system is maintaining the Portfolio related information, Investment advisory company’s information and the fund manager’s information in an organized manner to help the user take decisions on buying and selling their portfolios in the desired proportion and in the desired time.

     Field Ticket management: creation of receipts, processing and approval;
Purchase order management: purchasing materials for the specified order;
Invoice accounting: calculation of expenditures, invoicing, and payment tracking for each job;
Reporting System: over 30 complex reports for viewing and printing, including Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Invoices Outstanding;
Web Client Center: web access to invoices outstanding and completed work on each job site;
System Administration: management of employee data, application access permission, job codes, customer contact information, etc.

A logical navigation-through-application functionality was developed to smoothly perform all required workflow operations. MS .Net and Crystal Reports, selected for the project by our .Net technologists, helped create a convenient and pleasing application interface at minimum cost.

The most critical requirement was to bind all our customer’s offices into one well-organized system. Our customer’s service crews and managers travel from one office to another and require access to their own data from any of them. Our team designed the software system as a .Net distributed application that can be accessed from any office, thus increasing staff mobility.
