Challenge
Upon determining our customer’s software requirements, we presented a detailed technical proposal. Shortly after, our .Net experts learned the existing software solution and planed modifications required to adapt the software to a new business environment.

The new functionality necessitated database modifications, but keeping the application up and running was critical. Our .Net experts designed a new database structure and delivered SQL scripts to make modifications to the database without disrupting normal work.

Solution
Virtual Outlook was developed to aid users who would like to use the information in Outlook 2000 like Contacts, Tasks, Notes on their local machine virtually from anywhere using any device using the internet and be able to reuse the information on other operating systems as well. Once the information is available on the internet in a vendor independent format, the user can use and manage contacts, notes information virtually through any means. The user also has the option to synchronize the information between the local and the virtual Outlook. The Virtual Outlook was designed using .NET and is interoperable the Web Services makes it interoperable with a wide variety of applications developed in Java, C etc.
